Description

Stimulating medicine Clomid is oriented to simplification of the process of hormones release while ovulation. This hormonal treatment is required when a follicle can be produced by woman’s ovaries, but is not accompanied with the required hormonal stimulation.

The medicine is sold with a prescription. Generically it is a 50 mg white, round shaped, scored pills (either under the trade name of Clomid or Serophene).

Inform your attending doctor of having some chronic illness. You may not be allowed to take Clomid or require an individual program of treatment controlled by the doctor in case of:

* suspecting pregnancy;
* different endocrine problems, especially thyroid disorder;
* being ailing from uterine fibroids or liver disease;
* having a vaginal hemorrhage, even undiagnosed beforehand;
* being ill with endometriosis or endometrial carcinoma;
* suffering from ovarian cysts or ovarian enlargement, etc.

Note, that delivery of multiple fetuses, which could be caused by Clomid, may expose to danger the health of both woman and embryos.

Do not hesitate and seek emergency medical attention in case you feel any allergy manifestation involving breathing or deglutitive problems, hives or swelling.

Beware of OHSS (Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome), which displays with abdominal pains, fleshing out, swelling of extremities, breathing problem, nausea and vomiting. If facing at least one of these side effects, consult you doctor without delay because OHSS can have lethal termination.

Avoid taking Clomid in case of being pregnant or while breast-feeding a baby.

When taking Clomid be careful while driving and using complicated devises and machinery, for the remedy may have some visual side effects the most frequent of which is vision blurriness. In case of its development get emergency medical help.

Observe the prescribed dosage. Notify your doctor if you happen to miss a dose. In case of an overdose, the most frequent symptoms of which are blurred vision including spots or flashes, nausea, flushing, vomiting, and abdominal pains, immediately seek medical attention.
